Vartas Oy was preceded by Tietoliitos Oy and Adeptum Oy, which laid the foundation for the business.
The initial focus was on maintaining existing client relationships in the form of software and hosting services on Microsoft platforms.

2009
SharePoint:
A period of inclusive consulting and sub-contracting for major Finnish Microsoft partnership companies.
Heavy focus on Microsoft SharePoint development and maintenance.
2012
Cloud applications:
Microsoft SharePoint and ASP.NET MVC projects, consulting and maintenance for domestic clients both directly and through partners.
Company internal hosting outsourced to third parties. Began product and project development using Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

Developing business digitalization:
Transferring, integrating and developing clients’ applications to cloud platforms.
Focus on delivering applications and product development for Microsoft Azure and Microsoft office 365 cloud platforms.

Data and Azure:

Delivery of data driven solutions to the Microsoft clouds increases.
We focus on building and delivering information management solutions to the Microsoft Azure, Power BI and Teams cloud and collaboration platforms.

Current day:

We continue the data processing and digitalization of our clients’ operations on Microsoft cloud platforms.

Focus of Vartas projects deliveries moves increasingly to Vartas information portals, a service offering that supplements Microsoft’s cloud data and BI services.
